Privacy policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how 1550.io (“1550,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and application.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address, username, and authentication details when you create an account or sign in (password-based login via Supabase Auth). Optional contact details such as phone are stored if you provide them.
- App data — settings, watchlists, signals, trades, ladder progress, backtest runs, and related logs you generate in the product.
- Technical data — basic device/browser information, IP address, and usage logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- Broker / market APIs — if you connect Alpaca or similar credentials, those keys are used only to execute your requested brokerage and data operations. We do not sell your API keys.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the 1550 application
- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Send transactional alerts you enable (email, push, etc.)
- Run scanners, trade workflows, and backtests you request
- Comply with law and prevent abuse
Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (for example Supabase for database and auth, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email, and market/brokerage APIs you configure) to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and app data while your account is active and as needed for security, backups, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a personal trading tool. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices
You can update notification preferences in Settings, disconnect API keys by removing them from your environment/config, and request access or deletion of your account data.
